Biography

I am incredibly fortunate to have a supportive family. My wife and two children bring joy to my life, along with a mischievous dog who keeps us on our toes. I dedicate my time to them outside of work and school.

My healthcare journey began at 20, when I started as an ER Secretary. Over the years, I advanced to an ER Tech and eventually became a Registered Nurse, specializing in emergency and pre-hospital medicine. My 10 years in the Army Reserve have been integral to my professional growth, instilling core values that guide my practice today. After leaving the emergency department, I fulfilled a long-standing ambition of becoming a Flight Nurse. Recently, I transitioned back into the hospital setting, where I now serve as a House Supervisor, overseeing patient flow and rapid response coordination.

At 38, I am excited to complete my final semester of this doctoral program, and I expect to graduate in May 2025. As of March 3rd, 2025, I am board-certified through the ANCC.
